Varjazi & Basileus is a full color mini supplement for the SAGA rules and is the last to cover the factions of the Viking Age.

It contains all the rules and backgrounds for three new factions – the Byzantines, Rus Pagan and their successors, and the Era of the Princes Rus. Also includes new Swords for Hire unit, the dreaded Steppe Nomads, who can be in the pay of all three of these factions, and a new Hero of the Viking Age for the Byzantines, Harald Hardradda, Captain of the Varangian Guard.

Varjazi & Basileus also contains 3 battleboards. This is not a complete rule-set – the SAGA rulebook is needed in order to play.
