Thanos forced Eitri to forge the Infinity Gauntlet from divine Uru metal by holding his dwarven subjects hostage – and then slaughtered them once the Gauntlet was complete. The Mad Titan imprisoned Eitri’s hands in molten metal, leaving him to dream of revenge – an opportunity he received when Thor, Rocket and Groot came knocking…
